Ronahî: The Syrian interim government’s Ministry of Health announced that thirty-five people died and thirty others were injured in the crash on the Deir ez-Zor-Damascus highway.

Ronahî: Emergency Services Director Najib Nassan said two passenger buses collided near Homs. The cause of the crash is still unknown.

Kamîran: This is a major crash; the numbers are very high.

Ronahî: SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi also offered condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a speedy recovery. The Hasakah Security Forces issued the same message.

Kamîran: The second story concerns an international visit.

Ronahî: Antonio Guterres and his delegation arrived in Damascus today. This is the first time the UN Secretary-General has visited Damascus since two thousand eleven.

Ronahî: Interim Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani welcomed him at the international airport. Guterres will meet with interim government head Ahmed Al-Sharaa and representatives of civil society.

Ronahî: It was reported that he will discuss current developments and the general situation in Syria.

Ronahî: The Houthis announced that today they targeted points linked to Saudi Aramco at the ports of Jazan and Yanbu on the Red Sea coast.

Ronahî: Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said they struck Saudi oil facilities. Yemeni forces also targeted Houthi positions in Marib and Al-Jawf.

Ronahî: The United States Department of State announced in an official letter that Turkey has still not met the legal conditions for re-entering the F-35 programme, therefore under current conditions F-35s will not be delivered.
