Kamîran: For several days we have been talking about Israeli movements along the Syrian border, and it appears the area of these movements is extending deeper inland.

Ronahî: In western Daraa, in the Yarmouk Basin area, Israeli warplanes and helicopters patrolled and several explosions were heard in the region.

Ronahî: In the same area, along the riverbank of the village of Koya, Israeli soldiers detained a civilian while he was harvesting olives.

Ronahî: In northern Quneitra an Israeli patrol also entered the village of Terence. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights indicates that within one day this is the third time Israeli forces have entered various areas of southern Syria.

Ronahî: In western Suwayda province, at the fronts of the towns of Majdal and Mazraa, intense fighting took place between the National Defence Forces and the transitional government forces.

Ronahî: According to local sources, the fighting began after a National Defence Forces checkpoint in Majdal was targeted by a drone. Both sides used heavy weapons in the clashes.

Kamîran: Turning from southern Syria to the north-east, discontent has arisen there over a new education decision.

Ronahî: Students in the city of Derik gathered in front of the education building and rejected the transitional government's Ministry of Education decision.

Ronahî: The transitional government had decided that the Kurdish language lesson in schools would be given only three hours per week. The students demanded that the right to education in the mother tongue be protected.

Kamîran: In the city of Homs another armed incident also occurred.

Ronahî: In the Wadi Al Zahab neighbourhood of Homs, two armed men on a motorcycle fired at a shopkeeper.

Ronahî: The shopkeeper lost their life in this attack and the assailants fled the scene. The motive for the attack has not yet been determined.
