A heavy night in Kyiv, the framework bill presented to parliament and the fuel crisis in Kamishlo continues.
Russian strikes on Kyiv
Ronahî: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that seventeen people lost their life and forty-four others were wounded in the Russian missile and drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and its surroundings.
Ronahî: The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that its forces struck logistical centres in Kyiv and its surroundings.
Kamîran: That number is truly very heavy.
The framework bill
Kamîran: The framework bill titled Strengthening national unity and social cohesion was presented today with three hundred sixty signatures.
Ronahî: Deputy chair of the AKP group Abdullah Guler announced that the bill was sent to the Office of the Speaker of Parliament and will be discussed on Friday in the Justice Commission.
Ronahî: Besides AKP, MHP and DEM Party, the Republican People’s Party CHP also signed.
Kamîran: Now its main points have also been made public.
Ronahî: In the bill, Abdullah Ocalan and those sentenced before the year two thousand five were left outside the scope, and the bill consists of twelve points.
The fuel crisis in Kamishlo
Ronahî: In Kamishlo the fuel crisis has been going on for more than twelve days and most fuel stations have no fuel.
Ronahî: Because of this, public transport has stopped, many taxis are out of work and the regional economy has also been affected.
Ronahî: The crisis has also been made worse by the lack of cash.
Kamîran: The situation is very difficult for citizens.
Concert of women from all four parts
Kamîran: In Sulaymaniyah a group of women artists from all four parts of Kurdistan held their first concert.
Ronahî: One of the concert participants said that it was the first time women artists from all parts gathered on the same stage and performed Kurdish songs.
Iran-Oman agreement on the Strait of Hormuz
Ronahî: The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that a technical agreement was reached with the Sultanate of Oman on the geographical coordinates of shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz.
Kamîran: How will this agreement affect shipping traffic?
Ronahî: The ministry said the joint statement will be examined and technical, legal, security and environmental aspects have been discussed.
