Ronahî: Yes, DEM Party İmralı Board member Mithat Sancar, İmralı Secretariat member Çetîn Aktaş, and politician Gulten Kişanak appeared before the press at a hotel. They answered questions on how Abdullah Ocalan’s mission would proceed and how the disarmament process would unfold.

Ronahî: Yes, the Israeli army continues its bombardment, shelling, explosions, and demolition of areas in southern Lebanon. According to Lebanon’s national news agency, Israeli artillery shelled the town of Beni Heyan and carried out demolition operations at the same time.

Ronahî: In the town of Mecdel Zon, Israeli forces also carried out an explosion, and in Biyot El Seyad several houses burned.

Ronahî: Yes, displaced people from Serêkaniyê and the rural areas of Til Temir who are staying in the Telai and Waşûkanî camps held demonstrations in the squares of both camps. They demand return to their areas, the removal of those who have taken over their homes, and compensation for the destroyed houses.

Ronahî: That is right. In Qamishlo, negotiations continue to vacate seventeen schools in the city that are currently housing two hundred ten displaced families from Shehba. These families were forced to leave their homes in two thousand thirteen, two thousand eighteen, and two thousand twenty-four, and no solution has yet been found.

Kamîran: This week, memorial ceremonies were held in many cities.

Ronahî: Yes, in Kobanî today at the Dicle Memorial Ground, eight people who lost their lives in two thousand twenty-four were commemorated in a large ceremony attended by hundreds of family members and residents of the city.

Ronahî: Similarly, in Cizîra Şirnex, in Van, and at the Mexmûr Camp, condolences and memorial ceremonies were held for those who lost their lives in the Kurdistan Freedom Movement.

Ronahî: According to initial reports, in a fire that broke out today in the maternity and children’s ward of PIMS Hospital in Islamabad, at least fourteen infants lost their lives.
